I was born and raised in the Midwest and later spent many years in Arizona before returning to the region five years ago to work at Fort McCoy. Tomah quickly became home. I was drawn to the strong sense of community, hard-working families, and the small-town values that define our city.
My wife and I have been married for 29 years and have two adult sons. Service has always been central to my life. I am a retired Army veteran with 20 years of service in the Army National Guard, Army Reserve, and Active Duty, including time stationed in Germany.
Today, I continue serving our country and our region through my work at Fort McCoy — an installation that plays a critical role in our local economy and national defense.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in justice studies from Arizona State University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. I have also remained active in community service through youth programs, military events, and civic organizations.
For the past three years, I have served on the Monroe County Board, working on committees focused on public safety, human services, administration, and infrastructure. That experience has strengthened my commitment to responsible leadership and practical problem-solving.
